Dendrobium spectabile

One of only two orchids in my collection. Purchased a couple months ago from Seattle Orchid as a huge, flowering plant. Oddly, it couldn’t have come at a worse time, since I began working on the new growspace almost immediately, which meant it had to sit in an unlit, unheated room for a few days. Combined with the fact that I was still getting all my facts in order about this species (and still am), I lost two of the three flower spikes that it came with.

Fortunately, it blessed me with a handful of gorgeous flowers anyway.
